Individually tailored workshops, e.g. for ideation / design thinking, design sprints, or in-house training together with the Innovation Ambassadors. Recommended at the beginning of a project, or to build up specific know-how within the company. Most workshops can be conducted on-site or remotely.

Independent expert analysis of an existing application or website using proven methods such as a heuristic evaluation. This provides a quick, cost-effective indication of how the user experience of your product is doing and contains actionable  suggestions for improvements.

Process

Off-the-shelf UX design? There is no such thing. Each product has its individual challenges and focal points, and the approach will be tailored to them. What all projects have in common: I use proven methods from User Centered Design, Lean UX and Design Thinking in combination with agile development approaches.

How a project could look like

Analyse & Discovery

1. Analysis & Discovery

We analyse the existing solution in a pragmatic expert evaluation and identify initial quick wins. In a design thinking workshop, we formulate common goals and generate first ideas. If required, we collect further knowledge about the users with contectual interviews and summarize all this in customer journeys.

2. Solution Design

In several iterations, we develop and refine new, user-centric interaction concepts and a modern visual look & feel. This serves as the foundation for a new product experience that takes into account user requirements as well as business goals and technological feasibility.

3. Validation with users

Through usability tests with interactive, tangible prototypes, we ensure that the developed concepts lead to the desired improvement and that users are truly excited. The insights gained are iteratively incorporated into the solutions.

4. Documentation und implementation

In addition to documentation, e.g. in a design system, ongoing support is provided during development, pragmatically in the usual tools - for example via Jira tickets, Slack or Confluence. If necessary, we together define an MVP, which ensures a fast implementation of the most valuable innovations.

5. Measurable improvements

This could be where the journey ends - but ideally, we continue to monitor usage behavior after implementation. In this way, we ensure that the goals set at the beginning have been met. We can also make iterative adjustments if there are still problems in individual areas.
